After studying science, Romain Strabol moved to the artistic field. Holder of a BTS Audiovisual, he immediately worked as a set designer on the feature film “Children of the Rain” (Belokan). Then he worked on a local television station as a columnist and magazine director.
After a few years spent in the studio “La Fabrique” on various animation projects, including “The Apprentice of Santa Claus” (Gaumont), Romain worked with Michel Gondry as supervisor of special effects on the feature film “L’Écume des jours” (Brio films).
He was called upon to recruit technicians, organize work, manage teams, supervise and select subcontractors, transcribe the artistic intentions of filmmakers and seek original technical solutions.
At the same time, he has worked in interior design and design as a freelance, which has sharpened his practical mind and his vision of space.
He learned that space, just like the image can be composed, rhythmic and optimized to become rich and majestic or minimalist and effective.
His career path, fostered by animation, architecture and cinema, allowed him to acquire an overview of the production systems and the necessary retreat for the management of ambitious projects.
Romain Strabol loves teamwork, artistic and technical challenges as well as the emulation generated by quality projects.
