Gabriel Pardon met art by comics. Child, this world of bubbles made me dream…
As an evidence, his parents enrolled him at the age of 11 years in an art workshop (in Poissy). There he made his first portraits and learned to observe, including technical drawing.
Eager to make progress and full of curiosity, he then joined another academy “Les Peintres de l’Abbaye”, where he teaches today, with great pleasure to accompany young designers. Education is an area in which he also “discovered” myself. This activity complements his artistic identity.
After the baccalaureate, education followed preparatory workshops EPSAA of Paris (Superior Vocational School Graphic Art and Architecture) structured with rigor his drawing technique and threw him in a particular graphic universe, as for example the discovery of the Murnau film that this year, marked his choices.
After this preparatory year, the competition rose to the prestigious school ST Luc Brussels – comics section – allowed him to develop original work that he proposes today. He got a free education, turned to the narration, the staging of images and film world. The learning of artistic anatomy also played a big role in his graphics choice.
Like any creation, the creation of images is an outlet. Constantly obsessed with the effects of light on the shadow, he strives to create images, often dark … He suggests rather that he shows… The tone may sound dramatic…
